I’m Juriana Hernandez, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Santa Clarita - here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I'm a fluent Spanish Speaking Latina and I'm aware that culture plays an important part in my clients' lives. I truly care about my clients' well-being and work collaboratively with you to help you reach your goals.

I graduated from California State University, Northridge with a B.A in Sociology and M.A. in Psychology, emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute. I obtained my training in non-profit agencies working with individuals struggling with an array of mental health disorders to include: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, panic disorders, trauma, psychosis, relationship/family issues, and life transitions.

I have provided a number of specialized therapeutic services to individuals dealing with challenging life experiences and my philosophy in therapy lies in integrating: mind, body, and spirit. Mind: I collaborate with you and identify unhelpful thought patterns that lead to undesired emotions and behaviors by utilizing a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach. Body: I work on helping you pay attention to your body's needs by exploring current nutrition, sleep routine, and exercise patterns. Spirit: For clients wanting to incorporate the role of spirituality in overall healing and beliefs about the existence of something greater than us.

I take a compassionate, warm, strength-based approach in therapy. I'm a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist from the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and an expert in the area of Narcissistic Abuse. I'm also a CAMFT Member - California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
